MLV75 is a dense, mineral loaded vinyl (MLV) sound barrier comprised of a high percentage of recycled raw materials. The product is a cost-effective mass layer which can be used for general sound reduction applications. In addition, it has been designed to have good oil resistance properties making the product especially well-suited to acoustic pipe wrap applications in the oil and gas industry. The product is free of lead, unrefined aromatic oils and bitumen. It has excellent resistance to mineral oils, greases, weak acids and alkalis. Available as a self-adhesive version with a plastic polyolefin release liner.
