Acoustilay 8 (12mm thick) is a high performance acoustic flooring system combining both mass and resilience to help reduce both airborne noise (TV Music, Speech), and impact noise reduction (Footsteps, etc.). Acoustilay 8 can be used to enhance the acoustic performance of the SRS' 60 minute fire rated Maxi 60 Ceiling System - exceeding the sound insulation requirements of Part E of the Building Regulations by a significant margin.
All versions of SRS Acoustilay can be used to introduce effective soundproofing in domestic, residential and commercial environments.
