Sound Reduction Systems Ltd (SRS) Maxiboard and Maxideck products have been installed extensively throughout the recently refurbished Fludyers Arms hotel and restaurant in Felixstowe, Suffolk.
Before undertaking the refurbishment, the owners and architect had decided that privacy and comfort were of utmost importance within the hotel rooms. With this in mind they contacted SRS Ltd’s approved stockist and distributor, Trim Acoustics, for their expert advice on the building acoustics.
Initially, Trim Acoustics’ Director, Richard Groborz travelled to site to view the project first hand, meet with the builders, AMS Building Contractors, and discuss their acoustic requirements. He then provided them with a full specification for their project to meet their acoustic standards. Mr Groborz commented:
“It was clear that soundproofing was critical to the clients as part of these refurbishment works. We selected products from Sound Reduction Systems range of insulating materials to be sure of offering the greatest acoustic performance. We specified their high performance acoustic building board, Maxiboard, for the walls and ceilings, along with their top performing flooring product, Maxideck. Having used these high spec products previously, we knew that they would meet the clients exacting standards.”
In total, over 1000sqm worth of the high performance acoustic materials have been installed within the Fludyers Arms, and the clients and customers have been delighted with the privacy and comfort that the acoustic specification has delivered. Mr Groborz commented Further:
